Websites/Apps Evaluations

I had so much fun reviewing wonderful sites and apps that would be beneficial not only for me, but for my students as well. I had no idea that there were so many out there for my content field!! Below are 3 websites/apps that I found the most beneficial for a Spanish class!

1) WordReference- I absolutely love this app!! It is a wonderful way of getting immediate and accurate feedback when trying to translate a word or phrase into the language that one is learning. It beats google translate! It contains many languages that it can be translated into.

2) Duolingo- This is a wonderful app that allows anyone to practice learning a second language (there's so many languages to choose from)!! I absolutely loved this, because it makes learning a second language into a game. There are different levels of difficulty for different levels of understanding and/or beginning/advanced learners.

3) Destinos- This is  an amazing website that allows beginning second language learners (Spanish) to watch a soap opera with subtitles. It is repetitive and interactive, which also includes quizzes after each episode in order to keep the students engaged with the learning.
